- About Selene McGriff An engineer affiliated with the Deep Space Survey and Development Organization (DSSD). Selene is a Coordinator working on the development of a mobile suit for planetary exploration, and a core member of the Stargazer Project, whose goal is to explore beyond Mars' orbit. Though calm, collected, and a quick decision-maker, Selene will stop at nothing to make her dream of colonizing space a reality, and frequently loses sight of her surroundings in pursuit of her goals. She worked on development of the planetary exploration mobile suit that would come to be known as the Stargazer at the Fortaleza R&D Center in South America. However, environmental damage from the "Break the World" incident led her to flee to space. From there, she continued development at the DSSD's space-based Troya Station, where she eventually sortied in the Stargazer herself during an attack by the Earth Alliance Phantom Pain special forces unit. - About Sol Lyne Lange An engineer affiliated with the Deep Space Survey and Development Organization (DSSD). Sol lost his parents at a young age, and was taken in by his uncle, Edmond Du Clos. He has something of a sibling relationship with Selene McGriff, who also lost her parents. He worked on development of the planetary exploration mobile suit that would come to be known the as Stargazer at the Fortaleza R&D Center in South America. However, environmental damage from the "Break the World" incident led him to flee to space. From there, he continued development at the DSSD's space-based Troya Station. When the station came under attack by the Earth Alliance special forces unit Phantom Pain, he sortied in the Stargazer with Selene.
