A pilot for the Earth Alliance special forces unit Phantom Pain.
She is an Extended, one of the Earth Alliance's artificially enhanced soldiers.
She often struggles with words and acts fairly docile, but demonstrates ferocious capabilities when piloting a Mobile Suit.
She infiltrated the military arsenal Armory One together with her teammates, Sting Oakley and Auel Neider.
She stole the Gaia Gundam, which she went on to pilot in repeated engagements with the ZAFT warship Minerva.
While on shore leave in Diocuia, she accidentally slipped and fell into the water. Shinn Asuka rescued her, and they grew increasingly intimate with one another.
The Extended are conditioned to have "block words" that can drive them into a panic in order to get their outbursts under control. Stella's block word is "Die."
