A commissioned officer of the Earth Federation Forces. His rank is captain. Originally a mobile suit pilot whose history includes fighting on the front lines during Char's Rebellion, he gave up on his role as a pilot, carrying on instead with the development of new mobile suits for the EFF during peacetime. In response to the increasing radicalization of the anti-Earth Federation movement Mafty, he is assigned to the Davao air base overseeing the South Pacific, to take over Kimberly Hayman's command of the Mafty Annihilation Unit. He meets Hathaway aboard Haunzen Flight 356, the two sharing the same idea of what a pilot should be.
