A technical officer of the Federation Forces' Londo Bell task force. She is a talented mechanic responsible for developing and maintaining the task force's mobile suits. She is a serious soldier who nurses a crush on the Londo Bell ace pilot Amuro Ray, but never reveals her feelings during operations. Instead she prefers to separate their private and public lives and support him across all areas. While she is primarily involved with the development and maintenance of the new mobile suit Nu Gundam, she is an active woman who will take up the position of gunner when necessary, and once even went out into the battlefield with a psycho-frame to assist Amuro.
