An EFF pilot who took part in the One Year War as a member of the Moore Brotherhood.
Toward the end of the war, he fought against the Living Dead Division in the Thunderbolt Sector aboard the Full Armor Gundam.
After being defeated by Daryl Lorenz, who was piloting the Psycho Zaku, he was made a captive of the principality. In the confusion of the Battle of A Baoa Qu, he managed to escape, eventually surviving the One Year War.
Eight months after the war, he is exceptionally chosen as the pilot of the Atlas Gundam, taking up a post on the assault landing ship Spartan.
He meets Bianca Carlyle there, with whom he shares a passion for jazz, and the two grow closer during jam sessions.
However, he cannot hide his shock upon finding Claudia Peer, who was supposed to have died in the South Seas Alliance, the destination of the operation.
He tries in vain to ask her about her motive, exasperated by the tricks that fate is playing on them.
