Born into Zeon's noble Sakhalin family, she is the sister of Zeon's Technical Rear Admiral Ginius Sakhalin, and supports him as a test pilot for the prototype mobile armor Apsaras.
She is a civilian without an official rank, but her energy and kindness gave her many loyal followers within the Zeon forces.
She has a nobility that suits her upbringing, and fights with determination against the Federation Forces, but upon meeting the Federation officer Shiro Amada she is drawn to his sincerity.
She then starts to question war and the life she has lived as a puppet to her brother.
After meeting Shiro again on the battlefield, she starts to face her own internal war.
