A Federation Forces MS pilot assigned to the 08th MS Team of the Federation Ground Force's Far Eastern Mechanized Composite Battalion.
She has better piloting skills than her newly appointed team leader Shiro Amada.
She exhibits cool judgment on the battlefield, no matter how desperate the situation.
Her usual attitude is that of a true soldier, but because of her extensive experience she finds Shiro Amada's idealism unsuited to the battlefield and struggles to respect him, although she does follow his orders.
However, she eventually starts to recognize him as a leader for his direct personality and ever-improving abilities.
It is also obvious from her caring for others that she is a kind-hearted woman despite her ferocious fighting skills.
She used to be a medical student, and became a widow when her military doctor husband died.
